‘A true sire that will take your female line to the next level’
- Sired by the 2019 AHCS Supreme Exhibit, Arran exhibits the completeness of his sire’s line, being well balanced and proportioned. His depth of body and muscle placing showcases efficiency from the true highland breed.
- His dam stems from our best female line, exhibiting femininity in spades. A moderate framed cow herself, her structural correctness and feet shine through in Arran.
- Retained as a bull due to his overall package. Of mention, is his superb foot structure and short pastern length. Traits that could improve many herds in one cross. These strengths match perfectly with his smooth shoulder, great neck extension and correctness through the hips and pins. A free-moving bull as a result.
- As we’d expect, Arran has all the traditional Highland bull characteristics, with an even and correct horn-set, masculine head, and a full dossan in the winter.
- Arran has an exceptional disposition. He’ll happily be brushed in the paddock and will eat treats from your hand but importantly, is as equally respectful when working in the yards or moving in the paddock.
