Monty (Mont Blanc of Yatarna) is an absolute powerhouse of a Highland Bull.  

He has been continuously producing calves for us here at Yatarna and other properties around Victoria since he was 14 months old, with his calf count sitting as of January 2025 at 17 - 16 of them being heifers.

He is a very well-balanced bull with solid muscling, a good short highland head, thick in the neck & shoulders, with a straight back and deep chest.

He has symmetrical horns that come out levelled before lifting upwards.

His unique, predominantly Canadian/US pedigree means he can be used over most registered females here in Australia.

At just over 3 years of age, he currently weighs in at 792kg - having worked his entire adult life and being on an exclusive grassfed only diet. 

His calves are moderately sized and impress with the stable, even temperament all Yatarna bred animals are so re-known for as well as plenty of 'Highland' character.
