The AHCS is pleased to announce that the Australian Highland Cattle Society (AHCS) has appointed a new service provider, with a start date of 1 April 2025.
The AHCS Council has resolved unanimously to appoint Genetic Hub as our new service provider, and is excited to welcome the Genetic Hub team to undertake the important work around animal registrations, transfers and DNA testing support to members, whilst also providing high quality secretariat, marketing and governance services to the AHCS.
Genetic Hub have a team of staff to provide services to the AHCS alongside their other client breed societies, and their services are scaleable to the AHCS’s needs. The Genetic Hub Registrar team have the requisite experience with strong focus on customer service and support. As our Society continues to grow, I am positive that this appointment will mean that our registrations and member support will be of a high standard and meet the expectations of our membership.
Please find following information on current processing:
- All DNA samples received by COB 28 March 2025 will be processed by Agri Elements and sent to Zoetis for testing.
- Any DNA samples, transfer certificates or other postal correspondence received by Agri Elements after COB 28 March 2025 will be redirected immediately on to Genetic Hub for attention and processing.
- All pending processing (registrations, transfers, DNA results) will be handover over to the Genetic Hub team this Monday 31 March 20
